Skopje, 16 December 2014 – TheAgency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services performed a programme supervision regarding the programme packages of those operators of public electronic communications networks that retransmit the programme service Minimax whereby it was concluded that the programme service Minimax was retransmitted contrary to the signed contracts, that is the programme content of this programme service was not retransmitted in accordance with the license for broadcasting for the specified programme service.
Having regard to the facts stated above, the Agency obliges those operators that retransmit the programme service Minimax to immediately exclude it from their programme packages. The Agency will monitor the compliance with the issued order for exclusion and if it finds that it has not been acted upon the order, in accordance with its legal responsibilities, it will submit a request for initiation of criminal proceedings.
