Skopje, 10.10.2016 – Media monitoring in the period from 22 September until 1 October 2016 showed that the media had made progress in terms of qualitative balance in their reporting.
After having looked into the third Ten-day Report, we wish to bring it to media’s attention that their reporting on the regular activities of the state authorities should not serve the purpose of any political entity. Media are further advised to also dedicate attention to the activities of the ethnic Albanian political parties in the Republic of Macedonia.
We encourage the media to maintain the approximate qualitative and quantitative balance in their reporting and remind them to respect the standards of journalistic professionalism.
