Skopje, 01.06.2017 – At yesterday’s session, acting upon written requests by interested parties, the Agency Council adopted individual decisions not to announce a public competition to grant a television broadcasting license at the state level, via digital terrestrial multiplex.
The Council adopted the Director’s proposal, submitted upon a citizen’s initiative, to inform the Ministry of Interior about the existing suspicion that the Trade and Broadcasting Company “TV Kanal VIS DOOEL Strumica” had violated the author’s and related rights, on the basis of the Agency’s competence laid down in Article 18, Paragraph 1, Indent 7 of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services.
At the same time, the Council issued permission to provide funds required for the realization of the contract for the public procurement of a digital certificate for electronic signature on a token.
