SKOPJE, 24 February 2014 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services ( the Agency) at today’s meeting reviewed the report of the monitoring of the programme service TBC TV BOEM LLC Kicevo, broadcasted on 17 February 2014 and decided to file a request for initiation of misdemeanour proceedings before the competent court against the broadcaster TBC TV BOEM Kicevo and against the responsible person at the broadcaster, that is, before the filing of the request for misdemeanour proceedings to enforce a settlement procedure as follows:
-due to violation of Article 75-e, paragraph 2 of the Election Code, as the advertisement for collecting signatures in support of the candidacy for president of the Republic of Macedonia to the president of “Dostoinstvo” was broadcasted outside of the marked advertising block and without clearly marking the client;
– due to violation of Article 75-e, paragraph 3 of the Election Code, as the advertisement for collecting signatures in support of the candidacy for president of the Republic of Macedonia to the president of “ Dostoinstvo” , except for basic information – who the signatures are collected for and at what locations- contained additional data for the candidate, that is, his address to the citizens of Kicevo and its surroundings.

The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services decided to issue the following certificates for the registered programme packages:
-to the Company for production, trade and services SPACE TEL NET Skopje, a Certificate no. 6, whereby the registered programme package, as a whole, is supplemented with the following television programme services: Planeta, Sport Klub 1 , Sport Klub 2 , Cinemania, Golf Klub, Fishing and Hunting and Ultra;
-to the Company for production, trade and services BTV – NET Bitola, a Certificate no.5, whereby the registered programme package, as a whole, is supplemented with the following television programme services : Uskana TV (regionally) and Planeta;
– to the Company for telecommunications PET NET LLC , Certificate no. 10 , whereby the registered programme package, as a whole, is supplemented with the following television programme services: SOS Kanal and Kanal 77 Radio;
– to JSC Makedonski Telekom – Skopje , a Certificate no. 56, whereby the registered programme package, as a whole, is supplemented with the following television programme services: TV Vizhi BM (regionally).
The Agency adopted the Report of the Counselling on the subject “ Protection of copyright and related rights in carrying out the activities/operations of cable retransmission.”
