Skopje, 05.02.2016 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services calls on the media to demonstrate professional responsibility and perform their work observing the highest standards and principles of journalism.At this sensitive time for the Macedonian society, the Agency wishes to remind that media should provide objective and unbiased reporting and equal treatment of the diverse viewpoints and opinions, thus making it possible for the public to freely form their opinion on a certain event or issue. In this, journalists should make a clear distinction between fact and commentary, constantly bearing in mind that facts are inviolable, and that journalistic commentaries, apart from being free, must also be veracious.
