Skopje, 5 December 2016 – Based on the written reports on the monitoring of the media coverage of the elections, the Ad-hoc Committee for Observing Media Coverage submitted to the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services Action Proposals concerning Televizija Nova DOOEL Skopje, TV Kompani 21-M DOOEL Skopje, Nasha TV DOOEL Skopje, Regionalna TV Ultra DOOEL Skopje, TV Telma DOOEL Skopje and TV Alsat-M DOO Skopje.
The Ad Hoc Committee submitted proposals to initiate misdemeanour procedures, whereby the court would pronounce misdemeanor sanctions in the form of fines, against TV Alsat-M DOO Skopje, due to its violation of Article 75-f, Paragraph 1, and against Televizija Nova DOOEL Skopje, for its violation of Article 76, Paragraph 4, and Article 75-f, Paragraph 1, of the Electoral Code.
The Ad Hoc Committee submitted proposals to initiate misdemeanour procedures in the form of warnings against Nasha TV DOOEL Skopje, due to violation of Article 76, Paragraph 4, and against Regionalna TV Ultra DOOEL Skopje, TV KOMPANI 21-M DOOEL Skopje and TV Telma DOOEL Skopje, for violating Article 75-f, Paragraph 1, of the Electoral Code.
