Skopje, 9 December 2016 – Based on the written reports on monitoring the coverage of the elections by Televizija Nova DOOEL Skopje, TV Art Artan DOO Tetovo, HDTV Kanal Plus DOOEL Skopje, TRD Radio Antena 5 DOO Skopje and TRD Radio Slobodna Makedonija DOOEL Skopje, the Ad Hoc Committee for Observing Media Coverage submitted Action Proposals to the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services.
The Ad Hoc Committee submitted proposals to initiate misdemeanour procedures, upon which the court would pronounce a misdemeanour sanction in the form of fine, against TV Nova DOOEL Skopje, for its noncompliance with Article 75-f, Paragraph 1, of the Electoral Code.
The Ad Hoc Committee submitted proposals to initiate misdemeanour procedures, upon which the court would pronounce misdemeanour sanctions in the form of warnings, against HDTV Kanal Plus DOOEL Skopje, for violating Article 75-f, Paragraph 1; against Radio Antena 5 DOO Skopje and Televizija Art Artan DOO Tetovo, for noncomplying with Article 76, Paragraph 2, and against TRD Radio Slobodna Makedonija DOOEL Skopje, for violating Article 76, Paragraph 4 of the Electoral Code.
