Skopje, 20 February 2024 – Representatives of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and the Independent Media Commission of the Republic of Kosovo (NKM) held a bilateral meeting today in the Agency’s premises.
The participants in the meeting discussed several topics, placing the emphasis on the practical experiences and activities related to the alignment of the domestic media-related regulation with the EU acquis and the implementation of the obligations arising from the revised Audiovisual Media Services Directive.
Special attention was paid to the experiences concerning the manner of conducting the monitoring of media content during electoral processes.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the two regulatory bodies concluded that mutual cooperation should continue in the future, through exchanging information in the field of media regulation on issues that are of common interest to both parties.
