Skopje, 27 October 2025 – Director of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services Zoran Trajchevski held a working meeting today, at the Agency’s premises, with H.E. Mr. Christophe Le Rigoleur, Ambassador of the French Republic to the country.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed several topics related to media regulation, with particular emphasis on increasing the presence of French audiovisual content on television channels retransmitted in the country, as well as on the alignment of national legislation with the European legal framework, especially concerning the Digital Services Act (DSA).
The discussion also addressed the need for amendments and harmonization of the Electoral Code to overcome existing shortcomings and reflect current developments in the electoral and media context.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Director Trajchevski and Ambassador Le Rigoleur reaffirmed their commitment to deepening and strengthening cooperation between the Agency and the French Embassy.
