Skopje, 5 November 2025 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services has prepared a Report on the Paid Political Advertising by Broadcasters during the first round of the election campaign for the 2025 Local Elections, covering the period from 29 September to 17 October 2025.
The data presented in the Report were obtained through monitoring paid political advertising broadcast by the media outlets and were additionally verified through the process of confirming the broadcasters’ reports on the services they provided.
Out of 75 broadcasters (33 television and 42 radio stations) registered in the State Election Commission’s Register for airing paid political advertising (PPA) for the 2025 Local Elections, a total of 68 broadcasters had signed contracts with participants in the election campaign — 33 television stations and 35 radio stations.
