Skopje, 19 December 2025 — In accordance with the obligations set out in Article 75, Paragraphs 1 and 4, of the Electoral Code, the Public Broadcasting Service and the television broadcasters operating at the national level that will air paid political advertising are required to broadcast content related to the electoral process in a format accessible to persons with disabilities.
During the election campaign for the re-run mayoral elections in the municipalities of Gostivar, Mavrovo and Rostushe, Vrapchishte, and Centar Zhupa in 2026, these television broadcasters will ensure accessibility for at least one daily news bulletin, aired between 16:00 hrs and 24:00 hrs, every day, as well as for at least one additional programme related to the electoral process, broadcast between 16:00 hrs and 24:00 hrs, once a week.
