Skopje, 4 April 2026 – In response to a statement by the political party SDSM regarding the editorial policy of the “Infomax” online portal, the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services emphasizes that public communication should remain constructive and professional.
Political parties are urged to refrain from labelling or discrediting journalists and media outlets, as such practices undermine trust in public discourse and may have a negative impact on media freedom and democratic processes.
At the same time, the media and journalists are expected to report in a professional, objective, and impartial manner, adhering to journalistic standards and ethical principles, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information in the public interest.
