SKOPJE, 7 February 2014 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services at today’s meeting adopted the amendments to the methodology for monitoring the election media coverage through radio and television programme services during the election processes.
The Agency adopted the Report of the inventory commission for the performed inventory of fixed assets, small inventory, materials and spare parts in the warehouse, claims and liabilities of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services in 2013.
The Agency adopted the Information in terms of the preparation of the 10th meeting of the Subcommittee on Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy (12-13 March 2014).
The Agency adopted the Information on exemption from paying the broadcasting fee for family households of the obligors in the village of Topolnica, Municipality of Radovis and decided to propose to the Government of the Republic of Macedonia to exempt a total of 162 (one hundred and sixty-two) family households in the village of Topolnica, Municipality of Radovis from the payment of the broadcasting fee of obligors that have not reception of the programmes of PE “ Macedonian Radio Television”.
The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services adopted the Information on the notification from the Operator of digital terrestrial multiplex, ” ONE ” Telecommunication Services LLC Skopje, on the termination of the Contract for digital broadcasting of a programme service with the TBC ART Kanal Struga, due to non-compliance with the contractual obligations.
The Agency adopted the Report on the performed programme supervision of the performance of operators of public electronic communication networks on 29 January 2014 in Ohrid and decided to operators of public communication networks that retransmit television programme services for which they do not have an agreement on the regulation of copyright and related rights and for which no certificate for their retransmission by the Agency for Audio and Audio Visual Media Services was issued to oblige them to stop the retransmission as follows:
– the Operator of public communication network Altra Sat 2000 Ohrid can not retransmit the programme services: RTL, Rai Uno, ZDF, Sport Klub 1 , National Geographic WILD, Eurosport 1, Cartoon Network, Travel, National Geographic, HRT 3 , Balkanika, Sport Klub 2 , Fox Crime, HRT 1, Boomerang, Ultra, Cinemania, RTS 1 , Fen TV, CNN, KCN 3 , Sat, Sitel, Telma, Kanal 5, BNT, Nasha TV, 24 vesti TV, NTV , Alsat – M, Kanal 5 Plus , Morris and Alfa TV;
– the Operator of public communication network INFEL KTV LLC Ohrid can not retransmit the programme services: Universal Channel, VH- 1 , Kanal D, Planeta, Eurosport, Eurosport 2 and Star Turk;
– the Operator of public communication network B-KTV Ohrid can not retransmit MRT 1, MRT 2, the Assembly Channel and Moris TV (Article 143 of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services ).
The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services decided to issue to the TBC – operator of cable network INFEL KTV LLC Ohrid , a Certificate no. 14 , whereby the registered programme package, as a whole, is supplemented with the following television programme services: BN TV-sat, BN Music, VH1, VH1 Classic, MTV Dance, MTV Hits, MTV Rocks and Eurosport 1.
