Skopje, 07.05.2015 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services most harshly condemns the physical assaults against the “Vecer” daily Editor-in-Chief and the cameramen of SITEL TV, as well as the demolition of the premises of “Slobodna Makedonija” Radio.
In the light of the recent developments in the past few days, the Agency calls to respect for the right of the media workers to freely and smoothly perform their professional obligations, as freedom of information and the right to free reception and transmission of information constitute some of the fundamental values in a democratic society.
