Skopje, 12.11.2015 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services wishes to inform the media that the Law on Amending and Supplementing the Electoral Code came into force on 10 November 2015.
In accordance with Article 83 of this Law, from the day the Electoral Code came into force until the day of holding the early parliamentary elections – 24 April 2015 – the broadcasters, print media and electronic media (internet portals) must not broadcast, i.e. publish, advertisements financed from the Budget of the Republic of Macedonia, the budgets of the municipalities or the City of Skopje, or of any other persons who have been entrusted by law to perform public competences.
