Skopje, 18.12.2015 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services informs all media that the ban on paid political advertising in the broadcasters’ programmes, the print media and the electronic media (Internet portals) begins on Sunday, 20 December 2015, at 00:00 hrs.
The ban is stipulated in Article 82, Paragraph 1, of the Law on Amending and Supplementing the Electoral Code (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia, No. 196/15) and will be valid until the day of commencement of the electoral campaign for the 2016 early parliamentary elections.
