Skopje, 26.11.2016 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services condemns the attack on the journalist crew of the news programme of the First TV Programming Service of the Macedonian Radio and Television by members and supporters of a political party.
We wish to stress that violence against reporters is unacceptable and constitutes direct attack on the freedom of the media and the right of the public to be informed about the current social and political events.
We appeal that normal and unhindered conditions be allowed so that the media and media workers could perform their duties professionally.
