Skopje, 13 September 2018 – The Agency conducted control programme supervision over the work of KTV TV, M TV and USKANA EDEN TV to verify if the latter had acted upon the Decisions to Impose Warning Measures, which it had previously sent to these broadcasters due to failure to air programme originally created in the Republic of Macedonia.
The supervision found that, on 4 September 2018, USKANA EDEN TV from Tetovo had not aired originaly created programme in Albanian and Macedonian languages at all, thus violating the legal requirement to air minimum 50 % of programme originally made in the RM, in the Macedonian language or the languages of the non-majority communties living in Macedonia, half of which should be in the period from 7:00 until 19:00 hrs. The remaining two televisions had met this legal obligation.
