Skopje, 2 May 2019 – According to the Electoral Code, before the SEC makes the payment for the PPA expenses, the Agency is obligated to submit to SEC, on the 7th day following the end of the campaign for the second round of elections, a report on the total duration of paid political advertising aired by each of the broadcasters in particular in the period from 8 April 2019 until 3 May 2019.
Hence, in accordance with the Guidelines that the Agency Council adopted on 29 March 2019, the broadcasters have an obligation to submit data to the Agency for the political advertising they aired in the period from 8 April until 3 May 2019. The reports should not be sent by postal mail, but the broadcasters need to send a scanned, filled-in copy of the Report to the Agency electronically, to contact@avmu.mk, by 7 May (Tuesday) at the latest.
