Skopje, 10 May 2023 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services condemns the removal of the cameramen present at yesterday’s session of the Judicial Council and points out that this unprofessional attitude towards the media contributes not only to casting a shadow on the transparency of the judiciary, but also violates the law of the public to be fully informed about the work of the judicial authorities.
We wish to remind that it is particularly important to provide all news crews with smooth access to events that are of public interest, with the aim of ensuring transparency and accountability of the institutions.
