Skopje, 11 December 2025 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services condemns yesterday’s violent break-in at the newsroom of the Infomax online portal, carried out by an unidentified individual during the live broadcast of the podcast “Teshki Muabeti”.
The Agency wishes to remind that such actions represent a direct attack on media freedom and on journalists’ right to perform their work without pressure or threats. Violence against media workers and intrusions into newsrooms are utterly unacceptable and require an immediate and adequate response from the competent authorities. We therefore expect prompt action to ensure the incident is fully investigated and resolved.
Ensuring a safe and stable working environment for journalists and media professionals is essential for safeguarding freedom of expression and the right to information. All relevant institutions must make every effort to prevent similar incidents in the future.
