Skopje, September 16, 2012 – The Broadcasting Council (BC) rejects the accusations of the political party SDSM regarding the retransmission of the Australian television Best of Macedonia (BOM) in the Republic of Macedonia.
BC implements the Law on Broadcasting equally to all domestic broadcasters, and in terms of retransmission of foreign channels, it fully respects the national laws and the international directives and conventions, which also applies to the retransmission of the Australian television BOM.
BC calls on all political entities in the country to refrain from performing pressure on it as an independent regulatory body.
