Skopje, 23 May 2017 – The Telekanal A1 regional television station from Strumica has informed the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Servicesthat it had been facing threats in the past year, the last one being a threat letter. The television station has notified the Strumica Interior Ministry Department about this.
In this case too, the Agency wishes to reiterate its principled stance that no media outlet should be hindered while doing its work, i.e. that media outlets should be provided with the necessary conditions to perform their function.
