Skopje, 25.05.2017 – In the course of an ad hoc supervision over the work of the TRD TV-KANAL VIS DOOEL Strumica, the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Servicesestablished that, contrary to Article 49 of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (LAAVMS) this broadcaster had shown the feature film Furious 7 (2015) – the seventh sequel of the series of action movies titled Fast and Furious, without having first provided a transmission rights contract with the rights’ holder.
Due to this violation, the Agency issued a Decision to Take Warning Measure against this broadcaster, and enjoined it to harmonize its wprl with the legal provisions immediately after the Decision’s receipt.
