Skopje, 19.09.2017 – During a regular programme supervision conducted over the Second Programming Service of Makedonska Radio-Televizija (i.e. Channel Two of the Macedonian Radio and Television – MRT 2), the Agency found that,
on 4 August 2017, announcements advertising certain feature programme had been aired without any label on the protection of minors. The Agency imposed a warning measure against the broadcaster due to its disregard for the relevant legal obligation.
MRT 2 is now obligated to harmonize its work with the provisions of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media services and the Rulebook on the Protection of Minors, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the warning.
