Skopje, 20.01.2019 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services most strongly condemns yesterday’s attacks on a female journalist and some photo reporters during the marking of the religious holiday of Epiphany in Skopje.
Media workers should be allowed free access to all events and be enabled to perform their task of informing the public professionally.
Maintaining the dignity of journalist profession is of particular importance and, for these reasons, threats and attacks against media representatives are totally unacceptable.
