Skopje, 26 April 2024 – At yesterday’s, 19th, Session, the Agency Council adopted the Guidelines Amending and Supplementing the Guidelines for Broadcasters Pertaining to the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
The document clarifies the way the minutes allocated for paid political advertising (the total duration of maximum 8 minutes per clock hour of aired programme), shall be distributed between the two candidates participating in the second round of the Presidential Elections, the distribution of airtime in the newscasts of the Public Broadcaster and the distribution of airtime allocated for free political presentation on the Parliament’s Channel.
