Skopje, 23 April 2024 – While monitoring the coverage of the elections in the Klan Macedonia TV’s programme aired in the period from 4 to 22 April 2024, the Agency found violation of Article 75, Paragraph 1, in relation to Article 75, Paragraph 4, Indent 1, of the Electoral Code.
During the first round of the 2024 Presidential Election campaign, Klan Macedonia TV failed to ensure information regarding the electoral process in a format accessible for persons with disabilities, i.e. use of the sign language, subtitles, audio description or other tools to ensure accessibility, either in at least one edition of its newscasts daily, or in any other programming content on a weekly basis, aired in the period from 16:00 to 24:00 hrs.
