Skopje, 06.11.2015 – Having received a notification about a change in the ownership structure, the Council of the Agency adopted a decision to permit the change in the ownership structure of TRD RADIO AKTUEL Bitola DOOE, bearing in mind the fact that the proposed changes do not create illicit media concentration.
As a result of an established violation of Article 38 of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services on the part of TRD RADIO SVETI NIKOLE DOO Sveti Nikole and TRD RADIO OHRID DOO Ohrid, the Agency imposed on these two radio stations to adjust their ownership structure, as the Retirement and Disability Fund of Macedonia C.O. Skopje owns portions of both of these radio-stations. The Agency adopted a Conclusion to postpone further action on the adopted decisions establishing the violation of the ban under Article 38 of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services on the part of TRD RADIO SVETI NIKOLE DOO Sveti Nikole and TRD RADIO OHRID DOO Ohrid, until the outcome of the actions announced to be taken by the Retirement and Disability Fund of Macedonia C.O. Skopje and the Ministry of Information Society and Administration.
Draft Guidelines were adopted on amending and supplementing the Guide on the Method of Measuring the Viewership and Listenership of the Programmes, i.e. the Programme Services of the Broadcasters in the Republic of Macedonia. The proposed changes will allow other television stations as well to be the object of such measurement, should they express interest to be so; the formation of the Association of Advertisers in the Republic of Macedonia will be erased from the text of the Guidelines; the period covered by the contract with the selected agency will be increased from 5 to 7 years, and the method of calculating the fee to be paid by the members of the Committee and by third interested parties will be defined. The text of the Draft Guidelines has been put up for public debate for a duration of 30 days.
The Council issued permission to the Director of the Agency to adopt a decision whereby the debt of the TRD Cable Operator “TO-MI” DOOEL Radovish will be written off from the accounting records of the Agency; a decision to publish a short-term vacancy announcement to replace a temporarily absent employee until her return, and to conduct a negotiation procedure without publishing a public procurement ad for procurement of art paintings.
