First Report on the Media Coverage of the 2019 Presidential Elections Published

Skopje, 14 March 2019 – The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services prepared the First Monitoring Report on the Media Coverage of the 2019 Presidential Elections, covering the period from 9 February until 6 March 2019. Ad Hoc Supervision Conducted over 24 Vesti TV

Skopje, 12 March 2019 – Acting upon a complaint it had received, the Agency conducted an ad hoc programme supervision over the edition of the show “Ochi v ochi” (Eye to Eye), aired on 13 February 2019 by 24 Vesti TV. The supervision was conducted to verify the observance of the specific prohibitions against Article 48 of the LAAVMS, but it did not find any violation committed on the part of the show host.[…]

Warning Measures Imposed against MRA1, MRA2, MRA3 and MRT 2

Skopje, 11 March 2019 – Further to detecting violations of the relevant legal provisions, the Agency Council adopted Decisions to issue public warnings against the programming services of the Public Broadcasting Service – MRA1, MRA2, MRA3 and MRT2. MRA1 and MRA2 have been warned due to failure to provide sufficient percentage of aired domestic music, while MRA3 and MRT2 – due to failure to publish Impressum data.[…]
