The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (hereinafter: the Agency) dedicates considerable attention to the protection of personal data in all of its work processes and ensures that the processing of personal data of the personal data subjects (employees, job applicants, request submitters) within the Agency is in accordance with the legal regulations, principles and values related to personal data protection.
This Privacy Policy contains information about the categories of data that may be collected and retained during your visit to our website, about how such data are used, and with whom they are shared. The Privacy Policy also includes how you can contact us if you have any questions about these data.
This Privacy Policy is in accordance with the personal data protection regulations and the internal documentation of the Agency governing this area.

As a national regulatory authority of the Republic of North Macedonia in the field of audio and audiovisual media services, the Agency is committed to protecting individuals’ privacy. All personal data collected by the Agency are processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, the Law on Media, and the Law on Personal Data Protection.

The Agency collects personal data from the following categories of subjects:
- Employees, members of the Council, external associates and job applicants
- Visitors to our websites
- Request submitters and other individuals relating to requests or initiatives for conducting supervision
- Persons who, pursuant to the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and the Law on Media, submit requests and notifications to the Agency
- Persons requesting access to public information based on the Law on Free Access to Public Information

We process your personal data to fulfill the goals envisaged by Law, in agreement with you as a personal data subject, and based on your freely given consent.

The transparency of the Agency’s operations in the context of personal data protection is also demonstrated through the system for exercising the rights of personal data subjects.

- Changes to the Privacy Policy
To ensure consistent protection of the personal data processed by the Agency, in accordance with the amendments or supplements to the legal basis for processing, the Agency shall update this Privacy Policy periodically.
